I really enjoyed my stay at Vi Villa Cherating. The environment is peaceful and beautiful. The facilities are great, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I love the relaxing suasana. A nice place for a short getaway!

Some other facilities are old and not cleaned properly. Hope they can improve that.

I and my wife got bed bug from your perlis room and cost me rm85 to see doctor

My villa is Perak house. Near to the beach. The landscape & surroundings are very nice. The private pool is clean & decent. We love the kampung style ambiance. Had a nice short stay. Most probably coming back.

Maybe can upgrade the toilet..it looks old & some part has cracked.

Superb patio view with the private pool. Also, the staff over there really friendly and helpful. There's a special parking for each villa house, so no hustle to find a parking.

We came on monsoon season, so we're not be able to witness the true 'color' of the beach & sea. The weather all day gloomy. Anyway, this was not the hotel to be blame?

Pool area need upgrade. Furniture need to refurbish.

Nothing much to like because everything was horrible. Children water play stuff majority broken. Not repaired. Pool very dirty. Rooms was just horrible. I paid Rm1300 for my room. But super bad room. Toilet was horrible. Aircond n heater including some lights not working. Not worth the money at all. I stayed Holiday Villa Penang. Was super good. But holiday villa Cherating is completely bad. If I rate both of them : Holiday Villa Penang 90% Holiday villa Cherating 20%

The location, the garden, pools

The villa is very old and only have limited in room facilities. The bathtub is aged with cracks on the floor. The water heater handle is broken. Electric kettle is in terrible condition and stained inside, never used at all.

Nice Location by the beach. The pool was nice and big. The chalets were quaint. The beds were comfortable. A nice touch offering a welcome drink and fries in the room. There was special parking.

The condition of the room could have been better. Some parts of the wooden flooring had broken. A few of the light and electricity points were unserviceable. The bath tub had cracked. There were a lot of mosquitos.

We love the scenery at the property nearby the beach and the ocean…. The villa unit is cozy enough for our family with the private pool for the kids to enjoy…

There were frog inside the units (out nite watching tv were disturbed by a visiting frog to the unit)….. termite could be seen starting to infest in some part of the villa…The private pool- curb on side of the pool need to be smoothen … (kids easily get body scratched every time they lean on the pool sides)

Mosquitoes. Villa Sabah where we stayed has clogged bathroom in the second bedroom.

Mosquitoes are an issue to those who easily get bitten. Bring anti-mozzie sprays..

We enjoyed the large swimming pool and the private one ! The direct access to the beach.2 bedroom appartment is really large, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a living room.

Aircond not work very well. It take almost 2 hours to cool down the room temperature.

It is suitable for nature lovers, the beach, the private pool and the swimming pools are nice. By the way, the equipments and facilities are quite old but clean, the staff is thoughtful, it was raining in the morning when we stayed, the staff put the umbrella outside the villa, it is impressive. Overall, we stayed here and went to other beach to see the green turtles hatch and put the baby turtles into the ocean, it was a wonderful holiday here.

The lights are a bit too dark, it’s hard to reading books, and there are too mosquitoes to my family.

The surroundings were tranquil and relaxing - you can hear the seabreeze. Staff were friendly and helpful. The pool in our villa was just the right size for us, and with trees around, you feel like you're in a private area, surrounded by nature. Sunrise was magical. We drove, so we felt the location was easy distance to restaurants and activities we wanted to do.

We do live in the tropics, so bring anti-mosquito spray and mind the sandflies. Not a huge bother if you're prepared. We'd still recommend this place.

The theme park and pool is well maintained and the staffs are friendly and attentive

The beds were unclean. My husband and I were bitten by bed bugs, and the room was dusty.

Beautiful houses, some with a small private pool. There was also a nice large swimming pool and a very large children's pool with water slides.

We had to ask for an extra bed for our son, although we had reserved for 3 people. When we were there it was extremely quiet in the hotel, there were almost no other guests. The food varied in quality (hot pot was good, nasi was not). On the beach there are a lot of sand flies that bite, but of course the hotel can't do anything about that.
